At Home
First, I hope to become a Godly wife. I want to be a helpful wife who encourages and supports my husband in every way possible. I want to build him up and come alongside him in every project, goal and aspiration he has. I want to only uplift him in my speech and conduct, and honor him in my conversations with others. I want to prioritize our relationship above all other things, and together, be a mighty weapon for the Kingdom of God, to the glory of God.
I also desire to be a mother in the future. I would love to raise many children and disciple them as my primary ministry. I would love to be a stay-at-home mom so that I can devote the fleeting years of their youth to them. I very much look forward to this season of my life, as I believe being a mother is my purpose and calling in life. I pray my children will be bold followers of Jesus and walk in righteousness.
At Church
I would like to be involved in the women’s ministry at my church in a high capacity. I love to disciple and be discipled by Godly women who love God, His church, and His word. I would love to lead in Bible study small groups, be a mentor to many younger women, and especially cling to wisdom and insight from women who are seasons ahead of me.
At Work
I have a dream and a vision to open a place that is known for discipleship. In the future, I would love to own a store/ coffee shop where the primary goal would be to create meaningful relationships. Rather than prioritizing the coffee or the merchandise sold, my priority would be the atmosphere. I want to create walls that radiate Gods word into the hearts and minds of those who visit. I want to create seating that is comfortable, as if you were in a living room. I want the place to reflect the joy of the Lord, in all seasons of life. The place would be called Selah, which means to pause and reflect on God’s word. I would also be able to sell the art that I enjoy making in my free time, which includes tote bags, wall decor, watercolor and acrylic paintings, cards and more. My life has been changed by the impact of discipleship, therefore I want to cultivate a space that does that for others as well.
